Young, Black and Gifted - Chicago Dance Troupe Use Arts to Fight HIV/AIDS

Deeply Rooted Dance Theator is a contemporary and African-based dance troupe that is using it's fall performance to continue its work in AIDS education. Deeply Rooted is committed to organizing forums on AIDS/HIV education and research. From a performance standpoint, the artistic directors remind us of the ongoing AIDS crisis via their incisive 2003 company work "Jagged Ledges." Read more from The Chicago Tribune.
