Nineteen year old Teresa Williams of Los Angeles was awarded a $1000 academic scholarship by streetpositive.com. The nursing student was emancipated from foster care at age 16 and since then she has excelled academically, persevered personally and is headed in the right direction positively. To the not so young - stop planting seeds of doubt in young people and talking about how bad this generation is. That is discouraging. BE ENCOURAGED by these stories.
